Pump Up The Volume

After his family is forced to move out West, Christian Slater, a high-school recluse starts his own pirate radio station. Tackling issues ranging from compulsive masturbation to teen suicide, the perverted "Happy Harry Hardon" soon takes his school by storm. Both model students and deviants proclaim him as a hero alike. He explores the evils of adolescence and delves deep into the teenage mind. But then, when one of his listeners commits suicide after talking to him on the air, the FCC is called in, only promoting his show further. Battling both a corrupt school board and then the FCC, the movie progresses to a climatically ending only suitable to a movie of this magnitude.  Truly one of the greatest high school dramas of our time.
